Vista Lakes, Lake Nona, Florida

Vista Lakes is a master planned community on the east side of Orlando in rapidly expanding Lake Nona. Lake Nona is a large community in the southeast corner of Orlando. It is fast becoming the première address for medical professionals and young urban families from all walks of life. Its gorgeous natural surroundings and acres and acres of conservation area make it ideal for relaxation. Vista Lakes is one of several communities within Lake Nona. It occupies 948 acres of pristine real estate and contains over 2,300 houses built by a nationally renowned real estate developer. Vista Lakes consists of fourteen neighborhoods: Amhurst, Avon, Carlisle, Central Park, Champlain, Colonie, Gentry Park, Horizons, Melrose, Pembroke, Warwick, Waverly, and Windsor. Eleven of these neighborhoods have detached houses; two have condominiums (Horizons and Central Park); and one has town homes (Gentry Park). Five of the neighborhoods are gated. When Vista Lakes is full, there will be a total of 2,185 homes in Vista Lakes: 1,531 detached houses, 414 condominiums and 240 town homes. Vista Lakes has a wide offering of amenities such as Club House, a Waterslide, Lap Pool, Party Pavilion, Tennis Courts, Vista Lake Park and Amhurst Park. Central Park and Horizons have their own pools. Residents of Vista Lakes are entitled access to the Residents' Club, trails, parks, events and activities.

There is also a variety of shopping options in the Lake Nona/ Vista Lakes area such as Publix Super Market, Subway Hair, Salon, Chinese Restaurant, UPS Store, Jeweler, Tax Service, Video Store, Am South Bank, 5/3 Bank, Italian Restaurant, Animal Hospital, Quizno’s, Japanese Restaurant, Martial Arts School and a Nail Salon.

Central Park, Gentry Park and Horizons have their own homeowners association in addition to belonging to the Vista Lakes Community Association, the main homeowners association.

Vista Lakes has 5 schools from pre school to High School. Primrose is a preschool that takes care of children 6 weeks to 5 years old. There are 2 elementary schools, Vista Lakes Elementary and Hidden Oaks Elementary. Odyssey Middle School serves Vista Lakes students from 6th to 8th grade and Colonial High School serves 9th through 12th grade residents.
